1. Overview

At Digital Vehicle History Reports, we are committed to providing accurate and reliable vehicle history reports. We understand that sometimes things may not go as expected, and we want to ensure a fair and prompt resolution for all our customers.

Please read this Refund Policy carefully to understand when refunds are available and how to submit a request.

⚠️ Important: All refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of purchase. Requests submitted after this window will not be eligible for review.

2. Refund Eligibility

✓ You ARE Eligible for a Refund if:

  • You were charged but did not receive your report
  • You were charged twice for the same report (duplicate charge)
  • A technical error prevented you from accessing your report
  • The report delivered was for the wrong vehicle
  • You submit your request within 24 hours of purchase

✗ You are NOT Eligible for a Refund if:

  • You simply changed your mind after receiving the report
  • The vehicle history came back clean (no accidents found)
  • You entered the wrong VIN or license plate number
  • More than 24 hours have passed since your purchase
  • You have already downloaded and accessed the full report

3. How to Request a Refund

Follow these simple steps to submit your refund request:

Approved refunds processed within 5-7 business days

4. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund is approved, it will be processed through PayPal within 5-7 business days. The time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider and may take an additional 3-5 business days.

5. Partial Refunds

In certain circumstances, we may offer partial refunds at our discretion. For example, if you purchased a Standard Plan (2 reports) and only one report had a verified issue, we may refund the cost of the affected report only.

6. Report Accuracy

Our vehicle history reports are sourced from NMVTIS and other trusted databases. Please note the following:

  • Not all vehicle history events may be recorded in available databases
  • A clean report does not guarantee the vehicle has no prior history
  • We cannot issue refunds based solely on the content of a delivered report

If you believe there is a significant inaccuracy in your report, please contact us and we will investigate promptly.

7. Disputes

If you are unsatisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate your dispute through PayPal's buyer protection program. We are committed to resolving all disputes fairly and in a timely manner.

8. Required Information for Refund Requests

To process your refund request efficiently, please have the following information ready:

  • Your full name and email address used at purchase
  • Order ID or PayPal transaction number
  • Date and time of purchase
  • VIN or license plate number searched
  • Reason for the refund request
